Welcome to the John Wilson Academy Alumni Spotlight.
John Wilson Academy is only one part of our student's educational narrative and achievement. All of our schools contribute to the success of our students. The John Wilson Academy Alumni Spotlight program, recognizing John Wilson Academy graduates, is a reflection of all of our schools. Alumni will be recognized from both in and out of state and internationally.
Many of our alumni have become successful in a variety of fields and also give back to their communities in many ways. Our goal is to connect these individuals to our current student body in order to facilitate discussions on post-secondary experiences, careers and other topics of interest.
We are pleased to share our alumni and their stories with you. They are doing some amazing things in this world!
Outstanding Alumni
Sarah Johnson graduated from John Wilson Academy in 2010, where she excelled in science and mathematics. She went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University in 2014. Currently, Sarah works as a senior biomedical engineer at Medtronic, where she develops innovative medical devices that improve patient care. Her work focuses on creating advanced pacemaker technologies that are more efficient and less invasive. Sarah is passionate about using her skills to make a positive impact on people's lives and regularly volunteers at STEM outreach programs for high school students.
